As the first event of this kind to be held in the area, the sole purpose of the event is to improve the quality of life for East Hollywood

residents in terms of creating opportunities for improved health, housing, jobs, and recreation. The “Live, Work & Play in East

Hollywood” event will make more accessible information pertinent to the needs of East Hollywood individuals, families and their

children for an improved quality of life.

Free to the public, the event will

offer valuable information about

banking and financial services,

health care, housing and home

ownership, money

management, utilities, legal aid

programs, consumer rights,

public transportation,

telecommunications, and more.

The East Hollywood community is very diverse, comprising of many recent immigrants from several Latin American countries,

Armenia, Russia, and Thailand. This fair will help these individuals access information that will help them become wise consumers
