We need your  participation to help every single Thai counted, because the Census data which indicates how many Thais are located in the U.S. will guide local decision makers in allocating dollars for public programs for Thai families, small business owners, students, and seniors which include

 

- Medical Assistance (such as translation service in Thai)

- Housing Choice Vouchers

- Family Services

- Public Housing

- Lower Income Housing Assistance

- Job Training

- Emergency Food and Shelter

- Supportive Housing for the Elderly

- Small Business Development

- Very Low to Moderate Income Housing Loans

 

If Thai community were undercounted, the tax money we pay each year will go to benefit other communities to satisfy their needs. 

 

The Census campaign is from now through May.  We need volunteers who could speak and write both Thai and English.  After signing up, we will send you the activities and works that we need to be helped out during this campaign season.  You can also contact Thai CDC at (323) 468-2555 to sign up.  Please click here to see which areas need your help to do outreach.  We look forward to working with you :)
